Animal Jam Glitch Blog: Secret Colors

Secret colors can be found on many default animals on animal jam. These colors do not appear on the typical 10 x 5 color grid when you have them on your animal.

Color Grid

Regular animals with no special effects or patterns can have up to 4 different colors. These can be on the main color, secondary color, eyes and pattern. The main color is chosen from the top color palette in the animal color tab, and the secondary color is chosen from the bottom palette. Hence, secret colors have been sorted into these 4 customization categories on this page.

Glitched Colors

Glitched colors are hidden colors which can be obtained directly from clicking the edges of the color palette at certain window sizes of the AJ Classic browser. Therefore, they can be selected in any of the 4 customization categories (main color, secondary color, pattern, and eyes). There are 2 known glitched colors, and both can also be found as secret colors, mentioned further down on this page.

#CCEFF9 (Glitched Icy Blue)

Currently, the exact requirements to get Icy Blue on any computer are unknown, but for small screen resolutions, making the window size the smallest possible width and height seems to work. Once you have the correct window size, you can get icy blue by clicking the right edge of the lilac square, which is at the bottom right of the color palette.

#793647 (Glitched Magenta)

The glitched magenta color can be obtained by making your AJ Classic window maximised, but not expanded. Then, you click the right-edge of the lilac square, in the bottom right of the color palette. If this doesn't work, you can randomly set the window size to different sizes, until you find a size that does work. At certain window sizes, glitched magenta can also be obtained by clicking the top/bottom edge of any of the colors at the top/bottom of the color palete, and through clicking the left-edge of the black square which is in the top left.

Found on default eagles, enchanted eagles, and legendary eagles. Since legendary eagles have a pattern which covers the entire animal (except for the talons and beak), the main color is not normally visible.
