I sort glitches into 4 main groups: linear, timed, random event and compound. This is just an easy way to categorize them
Linear Glitches
These are glitches that require you to do things in a certain order. Glitches which require you to do a timed glitch plus extra steps are classed as linear.
Timed Glitches
These are glitches that require you to do things at the same time as something else, meaning you have to time it while you do it.
Random Event Glitches
These are glitches that happen randomly when Animal Jam forgets to load something for seemingly no reason, or it just bugs out. These glitches cannot be controlled/caused by the player.
Compound Glitches
These are glitches that require two or more other glitches, which can be from different categories .
Also, i like to use some of the following glitch terms from time to time.
"Inconsistant" - A glitch that can't be guaranteed will happen, but it might.
"Secret Color" - A color that comes from default animals that is not on the color pallete. This can't be obtained from pallete glitching.
"Glitched Color" - A color that can be obtained by both default animals and pallete glitching, for instance, icy blue and magenta.
"Fixed Color" - A color on an animal that cannot be changed, such as the color of a penguin's beak.
"Desynced" - When your animal is desynced by one room, it means wherever you travel, it will appear in the room you went in last. Desyncing by two rooms makes you appear two rooms behind.
"Adventure-locked" - When the game thinks your still in an adventure, which means you cant join another adventure and nobody can see your chat.
"Stuck on loading screen"
| "Stuck buffering"

Minigames
When i talk about mini-games, i mean anything on the games tab (except the claw) + river race, and occasionally best guess, painting and pixel painting.
Multiplayer only games: These are the ones that can only be hosted e.g. scooped.
Semi-player games: These are ones that can be either be hosted or played as single player, e.g. spider zapper
Single-player only games: Ones that can't be hosted and does not involve other players or bots, e.g. sky high
Competitive games: Ones that you can't host, although still involves other players and bots, e.g. best dressed
Other Games
There are other games in animal jam that don't have their own game preview (The tab with the play button and game instructions).
Popup games: Things like claw machines and smoothie machines, as they pop up on your screen.
Pet games: Games which require a pet to play, e.g. ducky dash
Spacing in inventories
In any inventory I talk about, i count the slots going from left to right, along each row from top to bottom. The item at the beginning of a row is to the right of the item at the end of the row above it. For example, the actual rare lionfish fin armor is to the right of all the glitched slots in this image.
Types of inventories
An inventory is a menu that shows all the items you have, sometimes from specific categories.
Clothing inventory: This is the menu where you select clothing to put on your animal.
Den Item Inventory: The menu you use to place den items in a den.
Den Inventory: The menu you use to switch dens.
Pet inventory: The menu you use to equip pets.
Music Inventory: The menu that shows you all the den music you have.
Animal Inventory: The switch animals menu.
Recycle inventory: The recycling menu.
Trade Inventory: Your own trade list.
Input Inventory: The menu you use to add items to a trade, your trade list, a jag or a my shop.
*although you can't see underwater clothing in your clothing inventory on land, they are still there, just hidden. That's why there isn't a separate inventory for underwater clothes.
